The Arzberg company, since 1887 has stood for the highest
quality in materials and design. German porcelain factory, Arzberg,
manufactured this pair of cups and saucers in around 1985 as part of its
commercial range of contemporary teaware. The Arzberg porcelain factory opened
in Bavaria, Germany, in 1887 though achieved enormous success in the late 1920s
when it formed a partnership with the organiser of the 1928 Berlin Exhibition
of Good Design.
