Maybe this should have been lesson #1 - it’s such a common mistake. The oft-neglected rule is this: not every house plans fits - or can easily be made to fit - on every site.
Potential Disaster
You’ve seen the sad, odd result of this mistake before - the one-level house precariously perched on a steeply sloping site. In the Midwestern and Southern United States it’ll be supported on stacks and stacks of concrete block; in the California hills it’s even worse - houses on stilts! But it does make for great video when a mudslide or earthquake takes one into the ravine below.

You have got a leaking water pipe in your bathroom. You know that you need a Plumber, but how do you find one that is reputable?
Here are a few hints to help you find a plumber in your area.
One thing to consider is if it is a real emergency. If it is then you will be looking for 24 hour plumbers if it is the middle of the night.
Alternatively, if you just have a dripping tap then you can certainly wait a few hours and possibly a few days before a Plumber arrives.

There is a wide range of bathroom cabinets that can be used to accessorize your bathroom in an efficient, but equally aesthetic, way. Bathroom vanity cabinets are a necessary part of the bathroom. Bathroom cabinets serve a variety of functions, from providing counter space to hold small things like contacts, trimmers, and acne medicine. Larger cabinets can hide the unsightly pipes from the bathroom sink and provide storage space for towels, or cleaning chemicals.

Carpet tile squares make it easy for anyone to install carpet in their home. The carpet squares also make a great flooring for hard to fit places or areas like garages, basements, or patios. Regardless of where you put the tiles, you’ll love how easy they are to install and replace if you need to.
Carpet tiles have been around for over twenty five years, but they are just becoming popular for homes in the last few years. In the past, tiles were used in commercial buildings that saw high traffic including airports, hospitals, and restaurants. Carpet tiles were more durable and easy to replace than regular carpet in such areas.

1. Shade. Shade is extremely important in the summer. While the summer is the time that the most time is spent out of doors, there are days and times of day when the intense summer heat make the outdoors too much to bear. However, a patio arbor can help provide some relief from this intense heat, which means that you will be more likely to spend time out of doors, and enjoy your patio, even during the hottest parts of the day.

When redoing my kitchen I wanted to add a chair rail border midway on one wall. I wanted something different, not your usual wood rail. So I looked at the different raised stencils thinking that they might make a nice rail and thought about using flat painted borders but decided that they were not the effect I wanted.
It then came to mind to do something very different.
I created a faux solid stone rough rail 2” wide by a little less than ¼” thick.
I used a water based patching plaster compound (Spackling) to create this effect.

There is nothing more intimate and relaxing than the gentle flickering of a tiny flame. Its delicate dance upon wind and wick is enchanting, casting a spell upon the watcher who gazes lazily into the light.
The ambiance that is created by the presence of candles is ethereal. Illuminating less than regular fixtures, shadows are cast on the space, making everything seem a little less real. The world is hazy, and wavering.
In such a space anything can happen. If you are alone, you may find yourself slipping into a phantasm. If you are with someone else, the dream may be shared. The possibilities are endless, and are dictated more by the will of your mind than by the realities of the world.

The first thing to remember is that tools can be dangerous and should not be thrown at one another. We did not actually throw any tools at each other. And we had been married long enough when we installed our laminate flooring to know that yelling at each other gets us no where. But there were some tense moments. We were fortunate that our only real injuries were an assortment of aches and pains in new and not so interesting places.
